(It is 11:47 PM on Tuesday July 17 and I just went outside to look at the stars ['til now it has been mostly impossible to do so as it has been light all night].  As Jerry promised months ago, the edge of the Milky Way is visible as a light-colored cloud and thousands of stars are lighting the new-moon sky.  I hummed a verse of "How Great Thou Art" in honor of "...all the worlds God's hands hath made.")
